The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for Selection Post Phase 14 Recruitment 2026, opening a major opportunity for job seekers across India. This recruitment drive aims to fill Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, departments, and government offices. A key highlight of this notification is that candidates from multiple educational backgrounds, including 10th pass, 12th pass, and graduates, are eligible to apply. In total, around 3,003 vacancies will be filled, making it one of the largest SSC recruitment drives of the year.

According to the official breakdown, out of the total 3,003 posts, the highest number of vacancies is reserved for the General (UR) category with 1,534 positions. The OBC category has 667 posts, while SC candidates will have 346 opportunities. Additionally, 271 vacancies are allocated for the EWS category and 185 posts for ST candidates. These posts are distributed across various central government departments, ensuring wide-ranging job opportunities for eligible applicants from different social and educational backgrounds.

The online application process has already started, and candidates must complete their registration within the given timeline. The last date to apply is May 4, 2026, while the final date for payment of application fees is May 5, 2026. SSC has also provided a correction window from May 11 to May 13, 2026, allowing applicants to fix errors in their submitted forms. Authorities have advised candidates not to wait until the last date, as heavy website traffic may lead to technical issues or delays during submission.
Eligibility, Selection Process and How to Apply Online
Different posts require different educational qualifications, making this recruitment accessible to 10th pass, 12th pass, and graduate candidates. The age limit generally ranges from 18 to 25 years, with some posts allowing up to 30 years, along with relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms. The selection process will consist of a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification for shortlisted candidates. To apply, candidates must visit the official SSC website, complete One-Time Registration (OTR), fill in the application form, upload documents, pay the fee, and submit the form before taking a printout for future reference.
