The film is receiving a tremendous response on OTT as well. Now, Ranveer Singh is ready to create another sensation with ‘Dhruvandhar 2’. The makers recently released the film’s teaser, and even before its release, ‘Dhruvandhar 2’ or ‘Dhruvandhar: The Revenge’ has already set a major record. Yes, the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, has recently finalized a massive deal.
Dhruvandhar 2’s Big Achievement Before Release
‘Dhruvandhar: The Revenge’ will be released in theaters on March 19th, and even before its release, the film has already earned ₹245 crore. According to a Pinkvilla report, Aditya Dhar’s film sequel, Dhruvandhar 2, has earned ₹245 crore from its non-theatrical rights, making it one of the biggest deals in Hindi cinema. It is reported that Jio Hotstar has acquired the digital streaming rights of ‘Dhruvandhar 2’ for ₹150 crore. The film’s satellite rights (in all languages) have been bought by Star Network for ₹50 crore.
Music Rights Also Earned Big
As for the film’s music rights, Aditya Dhar has finalized a deal with T-Series, and this deal was done for ₹45 crore. This means the film has already earned ₹245 crore even before its release. Satellite revenue has declined in the past few years, but the positive response to ‘Dhurandhar’ has fueled optimism, leading Star Network to acquire its satellite rights for a substantial sum. This makes ‘Dhurandhar 2’ the film with the highest non-theatrical valuation deal at present.
When will Dhurandhar 2 be released?
Regarding the release of Dhurandhar 2, the makers had announced the release date of the second part along with the release of the first film. The recently released teaser also confirmed that Dhurandhar 2 will be released on its scheduled date, March 19, 2026. Since Kannada superstar Yash’s ‘Toxic’ is also releasing on the same day, industry insiders expected the film’s release date to be postponed. However, Aditya Dhar has clarified that Dhurandhar 2 will be released on its scheduled date.
