The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (Assam Higher Secondary Education Council) is set to announce the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examination 2026 results tomorrow, April 28, at 10:30 AM. According to official updates, a press release will be issued earlier at 7:30 AM before the formal declaration of results. Students who appeared for the Class 12 examinations will be able to access and download their marksheets online soon after the announcement. The update was shared by Cabinet Minister for Higher and School Education Ranoj Pegu on social media platform X, where he also extended his best wishes to all students awaiting their results.
Where and How to Check Assam HS Result 2026 Online
Once released, students can check their results on the asseb.in and navigating to the “Board Exam Results 2026” section. From there, they must select “Assam Board Class 12 Exam Results 2026,” enter their roll number, and submit the details to view their marksheet. The result will appear on the screen and can be downloaded for future reference. Students are advised to keep a printed copy of their provisional marksheet for academic and admission purposes until official certificates are issued by the board.
SMS and Digital Platforms for Quick Result Access
Apart from the official website, students will also be able to access their Assam HS Result 2026 through SMS services. To check via mobile, candidates need to type ASSAM12 followed by their roll number and send it to 5676750 or 56263. The result will be delivered directly to their phone via text message. Additionally, digital platforms are expected to handle heavy traffic on result day, ensuring smoother access for lakhs of students across Science, Commerce, Arts, and Vocational streams.
Pass Percentage Trends Show Year-to-Year Fluctuations
Historical data shows significant variation in Assam HS pass percentages over the years. In 2025, the overall pass percentage was 79.26%, while 2024 recorded 88.64% and 2023 stood at 72.69%. The year 2022 saw a high pass rate of 92.90%, while 2021 recorded an exceptional 99.18% due to special assessment criteria. In 2020, 84.84% of students successfully passed. These fluctuations highlight changing academic conditions and evaluation patterns over time, making the 2026 results highly anticipated among students and educators alike.
