Voice raised from Delhi against Waqf amendment, Muslim leaders gave open challenge to Modi government

Muslim organizations organized a meeting against the Waqf Amendment Act at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. During this, former MP and Muslim leader Mohammad Adeeb fiercely attacked the central government. Adeeb said, “Thank you Modi ji, you have awakened the sleeping community. We were wandering here and there for the last 10-11 years, but now the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has brought us together on one platform. We have to fight against this black law.”

Who will benefit from snatching Waqf land?

Mohammad Adeeb asked, “If the Supreme Court has to maintain its reputation, then it should stop what the court has objected to. But our case is about the Waqf Bill.” Targeting Prime Minister Modi, he said, “Modi ji is saying that he is doing good for the poor, but can there be any benefit by snatching Waqf land?” He also said that many Hindus also do not know what is happening to us. This conspiracy is to end our existence. Adeeb appealed to the Muslim community to organize small programs and spread it to everyone.

Preparations for protest against Waqf Amendment Act in UP too

Muslim Personal Law Board spokesperson Qasim Rasool also supported this movement and said, “We will organize programs against the Waqf Amendment Act in UP too. We are preparing a blueprint on this. We will also challenge Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.” He said that this movement will not be limited to Delhi only, but it will be spread across North India and it will be opposed everywhere.

Maulana Arshad Madani’s statement, called Waqf Amendment a religious interference

Maulana Arshad Madani could not personally attend this program, but Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’s Delhi General Secretary Mufti Abdul Razek read his statement on his behalf. Maulana Madani said that he had intended to attend this important conference, but due to ill health he could not come. He prayed for the success of the programme and said, “The fight to protect Waqf is our fight for survival and the Waqf Amendment Act is a direct interference in our religion. It is our religious responsibility to protect Waqf. A Muslim can compromise on everything but cannot tolerate any kind of interference in his Shariat. Hence, we completely reject the Waqf Act 2025.”
