Chinese smartphone companies Vivo and Oppo are launching new mid-budget phones in India. Both companies have confirmed their launch dates for April 15th. This launch could create a major stir in the Indian smartphone market, as both brands are known for their powerful features in their respective segments. Vivo T5 Pro will have a large 9020mAh battery
Vivo ‘s upcoming phone, the Vivo T5 Pro, is particularly in the news for its large 9020mAh battery. The company has confirmed this through its official X handle and e-commerce platform Flipkart. This battery is a major upgrade over the previous model, which had a 6500mAh battery. This phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, which will provide better performance. It is also expected to have an AMOLED display and support for 1.5K resolution. The phone will come with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
Powerful camera and features in Oppo F33 and F33 Pro
Meanwhile, Oppo is expanding its F series with the launch of the Oppo F33 and F33 Pro. Both models will be unveiled on April 15th. The company plans to launch these phones in several attractive color options, including Misty Forest, Starry Blue, and Passion Red. The camera setup will include a 50MP OV50D40 sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. These phones are also expected to have an IP69K rating, providing better dust and water resistance.
Price, performance and market competition
These smartphones from both companies will be launched in the mid-budget segment and are expected to be priced around ₹30,000. While Vivo ‘s Vivo T5 Pro will attract customers with its battery and performance, Oppo ‘s F33 series will compete with its camera and design. Both phones are expected to feature features like 120Hz displays and fast charging. This launch could lead to intense competition in the mid-range segment in the Indian market, increasing the likelihood of customers finding better options.
