Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has extended the last date for online registration for Common Admission Test (CAT 2025). Now students who have not been able to fill the application form due to any reason can complete the application process by September 20. The application form can be filled by visiting the official website of IIM iimcat.ac.in. Keep in mind that the application window will close on September 20 at 5 pm. Taking advantage of this opportunity, students can apply for CAT 2025 in time.
Admission opportunities will be available through CAT 2025
Through this entrance exam, admission can be obtained in various IIM institutes of the country. Under this, seats will be available in Post Graduate Programs, Fellow and Doctoral Programs. Admission will be given on the basis of merit list and rank. Through CAT, students will get an opportunity to get admission in IIM institutes located in Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bodh Gaya, Kolkata, Indore, Jammu, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Washlang, Vasramor, Vatruvacharpalli, Udaipur and Visakhapatnam.
CAT 2025 Application Process
To apply for CAT 2025, candidates visit the website iimcat.ac.in. On the home page, click on the “New Candidate Registration” link and fill in the required information. After completing the registration, candidates can fill in the rest of the details by clicking on “Registered Candidate Login”. After filling the form, the prescribed application fee has to be deposited and it is necessary to take a print out of the completely filled form and keep it safe. In this way students can apply directly without any additional fee.
Application fee and exam information
SC/ST category candidates will have to deposit Rs 1300 for application, while candidates of all other categories will have to pay Rs 2600 as application fee. This fee can be deposited through online mode. CAT 2025 exam will be conducted on 30 November 2025 in 170 cities across the country. Admit cards for the exam can be downloaded from 5 November 2025.
