SSB Interview Process
Day 1: The first stage of the SSB interview is a screening test. Chest marks are awarded.
Day 2: Candidates selected on the first day participate in this stage. This stage involves psychological testing. It primarily focuses on mental and intellectual testing, consisting of four main tests. The four tests include: Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), Word Association Test (WAT), Situation Reaction Test (SRT), and Self-Description Test.
Day 3: On the third day of the SSB interview, selected candidates are given a number of tasks. Group discussions (GD) and group tasks are conducted in this round. These tests assess how the candidate works under pressure and maintains coordination within a group.
Day 4: This round involves a physical test for candidates, which includes several physical tests (e.g., a 5-kilometer run, physical tests to test physical strength and endurance, such as push-ups and chin-ups).
Day 5: This is the final day of the SSB interview. Personal interviews are conducted in this round. In this round, the leadership ability, speaking style, challenge solving skills, intellectual ability, decision making power, confidence and personality of the candidates are tested.
