The Assam state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started preparations to celebrate “Seva Pakhwada” to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday memorable. This special campaign will run across the country from September 17 to October 2. In this connection, a one-day workshop was organized at the BJP state headquarters Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by State BJP President Dilip Saikia. Senior leader and National Co-Treasurer Naresh Bansal, who is also the national in-charge of this campaign, was present in the meeting. Bansal presented the strategy to effectively implement the campaign at the state level and called upon the workers to actively join.
Blood donation camp and cleanliness campaign
On the first day of Seva Pakhwada i.e. September 17, blood donation camps will be organized in 1,000 districts across the country. The BJP plans to organize this event at every mandal level so that more and more people can join it. Along with this, cleanliness campaigns will also be run on a large scale, in which schools, hospitals, transport centers, parks, religious places, river banks and heritage sites will be cleaned. During this, the workers have also been instructed to connect with the local people and spread awareness, so that this program can take the form of a mass movement instead of just being an event.
Health Camp and Prime Minister’s Address
Health Week will be celebrated from September 17 to September 24 under the campaign. During this period, free health checkup camps will be organized in all government hospitals, community health centers (CHCs) and primary health centers (PHCs) of the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also communicate with the people across the country through virtual medium during this period and inspire them to join the Seva Pakhwada. BJP leaders believe that this initiative will directly benefit millions of people in rural and urban areas of health services and the sense of service in the society will be strengthened.
Other programs and Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan
During the Seva Pakhwada, not only programs related to health and cleanliness but also cultural and ideological activities will be organized. These include exhibition on the life of Prime Minister Modi, meeting of intellectuals, documentary screening and distribution of books. On September 21, a “NaMo Marathon” will be organized, while on September 25, there will be floral tributes and seminars on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Apart from this, tree plantation campaign, “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Vocal for Local” campaigns will also be accelerated. The party says that such programs will not only strengthen social concerns but will also strengthen the connection between the public and the organization.
