The actress, who is all set for the release of ‘Mardaani 3’, spoke about her journey in Bollywood as she completed 30 years in the industry. A heartwarming moment unfolded during the event when Rani became emotional after receiving a handwritten letter from her 10-year-old daughter, Adira. This beautiful surprise was given to her by her best friend, Karan Johar.
Karan Johar gives Rani Mukerji a special surprise
Several pictures and videos of Rani Mukerji have surfaced on social media. However, one particular video that is going viral shows Rani crying after reading the letter. Karan read the letter aloud, and Rani became emotional as Adira praised her and mentioned the qualities she loves about her mother. The letter read, “First of all, I just want to say that I love you very much. You are the best mother in the world. We have shared countless memories together… happy ones, sad ones, and yes, funny moments too. There are some things I like about you, some I don’t, and some habits I have inherited from you.”

The letter further read, “The habits I have inherited from you include my acting, dancing, and painting skills. One habit I don’t like about you, but I have inherited from you… is your anger. We are perhaps a little different, like you like bold colors and I like pastel colors… but at the same time, we are quite similar in many ways – like our looks, habits, and skills. There are some things I have that you don’t, like my school math skills. When I grow up, I want to be kind, confident, loving, intelligent, and stylish like you.” Finally, Adira wrote in the letter, “Besides all this, we are of the same blood… we are mother and daughter, and our relationship will always remain like this.” “I love you very much, Mama.”
