Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, on the occasion of Maharana Pratap’s birth anniversary on May 9, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared a post on social media site X. In this post, he paid tribute to Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap ji and wrote, “Maharana Pratap ji is a great hero of Indian history who sacrificed his entire life to protect the honor, dignity and self-respect of his motherland. Maharana Pratap showed his valor and courage and worked to keep the society united.”
Also gave a message on the importance of Bhamashah
The Defence Minister further wrote in his post, “Today I also remember that generous Bamashah who donated his accumulated wealth to Maharana without any selfishness in times of crisis. Therefore, whenever there will be talk of unique sacrifice, philanthropy and immense generosity, then the example of Bamashah’s life will be given.” Rajnath Singh also told on this occasion that he was to address the ‘Rana-Bamashah Sammelan’ organized by Bihar Pradesh BJP in Patna today, but due to some unavoidable reasons he could not reach that program. He again paid tribute to the memories of Rana Pratap ji and Bamashah.

Important meeting of Defense Minister
