Pahalgam Terror Attack: That day’s visit to the beautiful Baisaran near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir turned into a nightmare when the terrorists fired bullets indiscriminately. Assam University professor Debashish Bhattacharya was present with his wife and son in this attack. They had come from Sribhumi district and were enjoying the valleys of Baisaran. But then six terrorists arrived there and started firing. There was a scary moment when a terrorist pointed a gun at the professor’s head. But luckily his family narrowly escaped this horrifying scene.
The tourist spot turned into a scene of death
As soon as the sound of bullets echoed, the tourists present there were seen screaming. The peaceful scene of Baisaran was filled with dead bodies in a few minutes. The attackers fired bullets from American M4 carbine and dangerous rifles like AK-47 and AK-56. Local eyewitnesses say that the terrorists’ aim was clear – to cause maximum damage. This attack is considered to be the biggest terrorist attack in the Kashmir Valley after the removal of Article 370 in 2019, in which 28 innocent people lost their lives.

TRF, a terrorist organization linked to Lashkar, took responsibility
The responsibility of this attack has been taken by ‘The Resistance Front’ i.e. TRF, which is associated with Pakistan-based terrorist leader Hafiz Saeed’s organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. TRF’s name has come up in many terrorist incidents before this. This time too, they have shocked the country by targeting innocent tourists. Security agencies have taken this attack seriously and started a big search operation. The area is being searched with the help of drones and sniffer dogs so that these monsters can be caught soon. This attack is being condemned from all over the country and there is a wave of anger among the people.
Corporal Tage Hailyang became an example of bravery
One of the 28 people killed in this attack was Corporal Tage Hailyang, a resident of Arunachal Pradesh and a soldier of the Indian Air Force. He had come to visit Pahalgam with his wife but this trip proved to be his last. The country lost another brave soldier who sacrificed not only in uniform but also in ordinary life. The eyes of the whole country are moist remembering his martyrdom. Tage’s bravery has become an example for the youth today. Tribute and compensation have been announced by the government but no one can compensate for this pain.
