Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
- The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in English and Hindi. The exam will carry a total of 200 marks, and candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the exam.
- The JE recruitment exam will be conducted in three parts: Part I will consist of 140 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) related to the relevant engineering subject, Part II will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) related to general knowledge, and Part III will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) related to reasoning.
- Candidates should note that one mark will be awarded for each correct answer to a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
- No marks will be awarded/deducted for unattempted questions.
Negative Marking
There will be negative marking in this exam. ¼ mark, i.e. 0.25 marks, will be deducted for each incorrect answer to a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
