Migrant worker from Assam becomes a murderer, infidelity in love made him a monster

When Amit Orang, a migrant worker from Assam, was recently released from jail on bail, he hoped that his life would get back on track. But after coming out, he came to know that his live-in partner had left him. As soon as he heard this news, he lost his temper. In his eyes, the reason for this was only one person – Kottayam businessman TK Vijaykumar who had filed a theft case against him. On Monday night, Amit brutally murdered Vijaykumar and his wife Meera. On Wednesday, the police arrested him from a poultry farm in Thrissur where he was hiding after the crime.

Amit used to work in Vijaykumar’s house, was caught in theft

According to the police, Amit Orang and his partner both worked at the house of Vijaykumar and his wife. In September 2023, Amit stole Vijaykumar’s mobile phone and siphoned off Rs 1.5 lakh from his account. Vijaykumar lodged a report with the police on this. Amit was arrested in November and was recently released on bail. As soon as he came out, he found out that his girlfriend was no longer with him. He was devastated by this shock and requested Vijaykumar to withdraw the case but Vijaykumar refused. From here onwards, he made a horrifying plan.

Broke the door with a hand drill and attacked with an axe

On Monday night, Amit scaled the wall of Vijaykumar’s two-storey safe house and entered inside by breaking the glass of the window with a hand drill. After that, he opened the door and entered directly and killed both of them with an axe. Police say that the faces of both were badly disfigured, which clearly shows with what hatred he attacked them. The special thing was that nothing was stolen from the house. Yes, Amit did take the digital video recorder of the CCTV so that the evidence of the murder could be erased. Police found him two days later from a poultry farm in Thrissur where he was taking shelter.

CBI was involved in the investigation of son’s death

This murder has given birth to another mystery. In fact, Vijaykumar and Meera’s son Gautam, who was an entrepreneur in a technopark, was found dead on the railway track in Kottayam in 2017 under suspicious circumstances. Recently, i.e. exactly a month ago, the CBI started investigating this case. Now that the Vijaykumar couple has been murdered, people have started questioning whether these two cases have any connection. The police is currently investigating this angle as well. At present, the arrest of Amit Orang has definitely made a big disclosure in this double murder case, but the mentality and emotional turmoil behind it cannot be ignored.
