Major Placement Success at DDU: 92 Students Selected—Yet, It Sparks an Uproar

Students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) at Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDU) have achieved a significant milestone in their placements, demonstrating their outstanding performance. In a recent placement drive, 92 students were selected by prestigious companies across the country. This success has not only enhanced the university’s reputation but also demonstrated the importance of technical education for the youth of Purvanchal.

Notably, Computer Science and IT students achieved the highest success rates. This achievement is a result of the students’ hard work and the institute’s guidance.

IT and Computer Science students dominate

Computer Science and IT students were the most selected in this placement drive. Companies selected 42 IT students and 46 Computer Science students. Additionally, four students from the Artificial Intelligence (AI) course also received good offers. All selected students have been instructed to join in May and June.

Vaishnavi Srivastava brought glory to her name

Vaishnavi Srivastava achieved a special distinction in this placement. She received an offer from a major IT company like TCS. She demonstrated her talent and brought honor to the university by placing in the top 2 percent in the national-level NPTEL exam.

Opportunity also available in Indian Air Force

Engineering students aren’t limited to private companies. A computer science student has even been selected for the Indian Air Force. Several other students are currently participating in the SSB selection process, and good results are also expected.

Online placement and support from home country

This placement drive was conducted online on May 25th. Swadesh, a Lucknow-based organization, played a significant role in this entire process. Dr. Rajiv Nigam, the organization’s founder, praised the students’ skills and pledged his support in the future.

The Vice Chancellor and the Faculty congratulated

University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon expressed her happiness over this success and wished the students a bright future. Deans Prof. Himanshu Pandey and Prof. SN Tiwari also credited the students’ hard work and dedication as the primary reasons for this achievement.

Uproar in DDU

Engineering students at Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University are deeply upset over the exam results. The recently announced results for the first and third semesters left students stunned. Following this, a large number of students gathered at the administrative building and staged a protest.
