Mumbai Police Arrest Kamaal R Khan: Mumbai Police have arrested actor-director Kamaal R Khan in connection with the Oshiwara firing incident. A Mumbai Police team interrogated KRK. KRK has confessed that he fired the shots with his licensed gun and has also given his explanation. Social media celebrity KRK, or Kamaal Rashid Khan, was taken into custody on January 18 for allegedly firing four rounds at a residential building in Andheri, Oshiwara, Mumbai.
According to officials, writer-director Neeraj Kumar Mishra lives on the second floor of the same building, while model Prateek Baid lives on the fourth floor. Initially, it was not known who fired the shots. But now the investigation has revealed that KRK fired the shots. The actor has now been taken into custody from his studio. Mumbai Police have detained actor and director Kamaal R Khan alias KRK in the Oshiwara firing case. A Mumbai Police team also interrogated KRK.
What did KRK say in his defense?
KRK has confessed that he fired the shots with his licensed gun. However, he also clarified that his intention was not to hurt anyone. He was cleaning his gun. There is a large mangrove forest in front of his house, and after cleaning the gun, he fired it to test it. The actor thought that the bullet would get lost in the mangrove forest, but there was wind blowing at the time, due to which the bullet traveled a little further and hit a building in Oshiwara.
Police recover KRK’s gun
The police have also recovered KRK’s gun, which he used for firing. The proceedings in the case are still ongoing. KRK is a self-proclaimed film critic. He is often seen criticizing different films and roasting Bollywood stars on social media. Kamaal R Khan has been seen in the film ‘Deshdrohi’. He has also worked as a producer in the film industry.
