The command of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has now come into the hands of a young face. At the age of just 29, Mahaaryaman Scindia has become its youngest president. Mahaaryaman, who belongs to the royal family of Gwalior, comes from a family active in both politics and sports. His father Jyotiraditya Scindia is a minister in the central government, while grandfather Madhavrao Scindia has also been the president of MPCA. In such a situation, this post is a symbol of new tradition and responsibility for his family.
Higher education and international experience
Mahaaryaman Scindia’s education has been very rich. He completed his schooling from Doon School, Dehradun. After this, he turned abroad and received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Yale University, USA in 2019. Not only this, he was also a part of the Summer School Program of the London School of Economics, where he studied International Relations and Affairs. This education gave him a global perspective and understanding of modern management, which proved helpful in his administrative and professional life.
Work experience in various fields
Maharyaman gained continuous work experience along with his studies. In the year 2014, he did an internship at the Gross National Happiness Center of Bhutan. After this, he also worked in the Finance Ministry of the Government of India. In 2015, he joined the famous auction company Christie’s in London.
