The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation exam datesheets for January 2025. This news is extremely important for students who have been waiting for their exam schedules for a long time. This year, the exams will begin in the second week of January and continue throughout the month. ICAI has scheduled the Final Course Group 1 exams for January 5, 7, and 9, 2025, while the Group 2 exams will be held on January 11, 13, and 16, 2025.
Intermediate and Foundation Course Exam Schedule
Group 1 exams for the Intermediate Course will be held on January 6, 8, and 10, 2025. Group 2 exams will be held on January 12, 15, and 17. All Foundation Course exams will be held on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2025. Additionally, the International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT-AT) will be held on January 13 and 16. The Insurance and Risk Management Technical Examination will be held on January 9, 11, 13, and 16. This time, all examinations will be conducted in a single shift.
Exam Timings and Rules
ICAI has clarified that most examinations will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Some papers, such as Paper 6 of the Final Examination and the INTT-AT Examination, will be held for four hours from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination will be held for only two hours. Students are advised to reach the examination center on time and not use mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets during the examination. Only identity cards and necessary stationery will be allowed.
Preparation and Tips for Students
Students are advised to solve previous year question papers and model test papers to prepare for the final and intermediate exams. Foundation-level students should pay special attention to fundamental concepts and time management. Students taking the INTT-AT and insurance exams should focus on case studies and practical questions. Admit cards will be uploaded on the ICAI official website a few weeks before the exam, so students should download them in time.
