Along with this, she started ‘She Toilets’ for the convenience of women. The country’s first pet park is also the result of her ideas. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Hari Chandana was the collector of Narayanpet district. In that difficult time, she established ‘Arunya Mahila Sahakari Sanstha’, through which weavers and craftsmen were connected to big e-commerce platforms. This gave recognition to the art of local artists and also provided them a permanent market. During the pandemic, she got 4000 women the work of mask manufacturing, which earned a profit of about ₹ 50 lakh in a year. For this excellent work, she was also awarded the British Council’s Social Impact Award. This honor testifies to her social contribution and foresight.
