The Story Begins in a Morgue
“Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery” begins with a scene in a morgue where the post-mortem of paranormal expert Gaurav Tiwari is underway. The police initially assume it to be a suicide, but marks found on his neck turn the story in a new direction. Meanwhile, a new character enters the story: a writer who wants to write a book on Gaurav Tiwari’s life, and the story goes into flashback. The story then shifts to Gaurav Tiwari’s life before he became a paranormal expert, depicting how a young man who dreamed of becoming a pilot finds himself drawn into the paranormal world.
The Mysterious Death of a Paranormal Expert
The series’ flashbacks depict how Gaurav aspired to become a pilot, but one day, while flying, something happens to him that takes his life in a different direction, leading him to decide to switch from a pilot to a paranormal expert. Following his decision, he joins the Indian Paranormal Society and embarks on a new journey. Initially, things go well, but after five years of constant involvement with paranormal activities, strange events begin to occur, and one day, news of Gaurav’s mysterious death arrives. “Bhay” features many scenes that will send shivers down your spine.
Cast and Direction
Karan Tacker plays Gaurav Tiwari in the series and his performance anchors the entire story. He also stars Kalki Koechlin, Danish Sood, Saloni Batra, Shubham Chaudhary, and Nimisha Nair in pivotal roles. Robbie Grewal directs this horror series. The series was released on December 12, 2025, and has an 8.8 rating on IMDb.
