Assam Crime: An incident has come to light from North Ballamgudi village of Bijni area of Bongaigaon district of Assam which has shaken the entire area. A man brutally murdered his wife and then went straight to the police station with her severed head in his hand. Seeing this horrific scene, the policemen and local people present in the police station were stunned.
The accused reached the police station with the severed head
The accused has been identified as British Hajong. According to police sources, he brutally murdered his wife Baijayanti Hajong and then surrendered himself to the police. It is being told that at the time of the incident, the couple was living in the house with their two daughters. After the murder, the accused cut off his wife’s head and reached the police station with it. He went straight to the police station and surrendered without any panic and without any regret.
The reason for the murder is not clear yet
At present, the reason for the murder is not clear. The police is conducting a preliminary investigation and the accused is being continuously questioned. This gruesome method of murder has shocked the police as well. Officials are trying to get to the bottom of why the accused took such a cruel step and whether any domestic dispute or mental illness could be the reason behind it.
