Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates applying for this position must have passed the Matriculation/10th grade or equivalent (under the 10+2 system) examination with a minimum of 50% marks. They must also possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
As for the age limit, the minimum age for applicants is 15 years and the maximum age is 24 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government regulations.
Selection Process and Merit List
The selection process for apprentice training will be based on a merit list. This merit list will be prepared for all candidates applying to the respective division/unit. The average marks obtained in the candidate’s matriculation examination (minimum 50% marks required) and ITI examination will be calculated. Both examinations will be given equal weightage (50-50). Candidates will be selected based on this average. There will be no written examination or interview for this recruitment.

Application fees have also been determined for the recruitment process. SC/ST/PWD/female candidates will not have to pay any application fee. For candidates from all other categories, the application fee is ₹100. Candidates can pay the fee online using a debit/credit card or internet banking. Please note that transaction charges for online payments will be borne by the candidates themselves.
