Salma Agha was born in 1954 in Karachi (Pakistan). Her father Liaquat Gul Tajik was a big businessman, while mother Naseerin was from a famous family. Naseerin was the daughter of famous actress Anwari Begum and musician Rafiq Ghaznavi. After divorce, Salma’s mother married Jugal Kishore Mehra, who was Raj Kapoor’s maternal uncle. In this way, Salma’s relationship also got connected to the Kapoor family. However, these relationships could not reduce the difficulties of her life. Four love affairs and three failed marriages
Salma Agha’s personal life remained in the headlines more than her films. Her first love was New York businessman Mahmood Sipra, but the relationship broke. For the third time, she married actor Javed Sheikh, but they too got divorced after three years. Javed had said that Salma was of a very insecure nature. After this, Salma married famous squash player Rehmat Khan in 1989 and became the mother of two children, one of whom, Sasha Agha, also entered films. But this relationship also broke in 2010.
