She recently revealed that she has turned down offers for several major projects.
Bhumi is an actress who gives her all to her film and character. For her debut film, “Dum Laga Ke Haisha,” she gained 25 kg. However, she was offered roles that were unsuitable for her, forcing her to turn them down. In a recent conversation with Mid-Day, Bhumi said, “I’ve even turned down offers for films with budgets of around ₹300-350 crore. But the kind of work I was doing didn’t align with those films.”

She also said that opportunities are fewer than before, and how many of them will I let go? However, she has rejected some offers. Bhumi added that she needs to be practical and consider career growth. She said, “I have to run my house. And not just my house, I want my career to continue.”
In any case, Bhumi’s recently released web series, “Daldal,” features her as DCP Rita Ferreira. Directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, the series is available on the OTT platform Prime Video. She also stars Aditya Rawal, Sandeep Kulkarni, and Anant Mahadevan in pivotal roles. The series has a total of 10 episodes.
