Ayodhya Ram Navami: Amid preparations for the grand Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya, security arrangements have been significantly beefed up to ensure the safety of thousands of devotees arriving on the occasion . Inspector General of Police (IG) of Ayodhya range Praveen Kumar announced that the city will be divided into various zones and sectors to efficiently manage both security and traffic. Special measures have been taken to prevent congestion, including allowing heavy vehicles to pass through the Purvanchal Expressway, to avoid any inconvenience to devotees.
In an effort to prioritise the safety and convenience of common devotees, the administration has decided to cancel all special VIP passes for darshan at the Ram Mandir between 9 am and 12 noon. The move ensures that regular visitors have easy access to the temple during peak hours. Additionally, teams of the water police, NDRF and SDRF have been put on high alert around the Saryu river, which is one of the major locations for the festivities. The authorities are completely focused on maintaining a seamless and safe experience for everyone in Ayodhya during the festivities.

Special provisions for the convenience of devotees
Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya Gaurav Dayal said that the administration has made special provisions to ensure that the devotees do not suffer from the scorching heat. Shades and mats have been laid at major places including Ram Mandir and Hanumangarhi, where people will gather in large numbers. The administration has also made arrangements for cold drinking water at major places and ORS solution has been made available at all temporary health centers. Temporary primary health centers have been set up at 14 places, where adequate number of doctors are present, so that any health related problem can be dealt with.
Water sprinkling will be done using drones and darshan time will be extended
The authorities have taken innovative steps to ensure the convenience of devotees during Ram Navami. A unique feature of this year’s celebration will be the use of drones to sprinkle water on the crowd gathered on the banks of the Saryu river, providing some relief from the heat. Apart from these arrangements, the Ram Mandir Trust has decided to extend the darshan hours keeping in mind the increasing number of devotees visiting Ayodhya on the occasion. With preparations in full swing , the city is all set for a safe and grand Ram Navami celebration, which will provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for every visitor.
