During the visit, he visited the State Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Khanapara, Guwahati, where he interacted with doctors, hospital staff, and National Health Mission (NHM) employees. Prahlad Joshi inspected various OPD services at Ayushman Arogya Mandir and reviewed the medical facilities available at the hospital. After inspecting health services, Union Minister Joshi visited a Fair Price Shop (Sasta Ration Shop) located in the Six Mile area, where he reviewed the food grain distribution system. He inspected the warehouse, the use of machinery, and the documentation process before the supply of essential commodities. The Minister interacted with the beneficiaries present there, listened to their problems, and assured them that the government is committed to providing quality food grains at reasonable prices to every eligible family. He also inspected the quality of rice available in the shops and directed officials to ensure transparency and timely distribution.

During the visit, Prahlad Joshi also visited Ganesh Mandir Higher Secondary School, where he reviewed the construction of the new academic building.
