Three Bangladeshis also caught in Agartala
Last week, three Bangladeshi citizens were also caught at Agartala railway station, including a woman. This action was carried out jointly by the Railway Police Force, Border Security Force and Intelligence Department. Police investigation has revealed that these three had entered India illegally and were planning to go to the southern states via Kolkata. The names of the arrested persons are – Kamrun Nesa (23 years) who is a resident of Dhaka and two men Ismail Hussain (22 years) and Noor Hussain (25 years) who are residents of Chittagong. At present, they are being interrogated intensively at the Agartala GRP police station.
Police busting network trying to breach national security
Agartala police has registered a case against these three and it is being considered a serious matter related to national security. Police suspect that this infiltration was not an ordinary incident but was part of a large human trafficking or illegal immigration network. Investigative agencies are now trying to uncover the entire network of this network so that such incidents can be completely stopped in future. The focus of security agencies is now on eradicating such networks from the root and keeping India’s borders safe.
