Speaking to ANI, the auto driver’s brother, Mohammad Sameer, said, “This incident happened between 8 and 8:30 PM. My brother’s auto-rickshaw was ahead, and Akshay Kumar’s Innova and a Mercedes were coming behind him. The Mercedes hit the Innova, which then collided with the auto-rickshaw. As a result, my brother and another passenger were trapped under the auto-rickshaw. The entire auto-rickshaw was damaged, and my brother is in a very serious condition. Our only request is that my brother receives proper treatment and that the damage to the auto-rickshaw is compensated. We don’t want anything else. We are very poor people; we cannot afford this. The situation is very serious. We just want our brother to be treated; we don’t need anything else.”
