Renowned Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma was left shaken by a startling incident that occurred at the Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT) in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Reacting to the incident, she shared a video on her social media accounts in which she recounted exactly what had transpired during the concert. She urged the college management to forgive the students involved, stating that the fan who had jumped onto the stage harbored no malicious intent. The singer also revealed that the fan had apologized for his mistake, and she, in turn, had forgiven him.
Sunanda Sharma Reacts to the Ghaziabad Show Controversy
In her Instagram video, Sunanda said, “Hello friends, I am Sunanda Sharma. Yesterday, a minor mishap occurred at RKGIT College in Ghaziabad…” She explained that while she was performing, a student suddenly rushed onto the stage, leaving everyone taken aback. This sudden intrusion frightened both the crowd and the people present on the stage. She further added, “Everyone was scared—I was scared, too. When he suddenly appeared on the stage, my reaction was quite startled as well.” Citing security concerns, Sunanda was compelled to leave the stage immediately. She remarked, “We were not prepared for this.”

Fan Apologizes to Sunanda Sharma
The singer confirmed that the college authorities had taken strict action against the student in question. However, she appealed to the management to show leniency and forgive the students, specifically the fan involved. She noted, “Sometimes, the way someone chooses to express their affection can go wrong.” She went on to say, “I do not believe his intentions were malicious,” and emphasized that she herself had personally forgiven him. Sunanda concluded her message by directly addressing the student, urging him to reflect upon the incident and learn from it. Sunanda Sharma also shared a video on her Instagram Story in which the fan can be seen offering his apology.
