How was the result this time?
This year, 139 students ranked in the top 10 in the Bihar Board 10th results, including 57 girls. In the first division, out of a total of 443,723 students, 234,501 were boys and 209,222 were girls. In the second division, out of a total of 475,511 students, 225,011 were boys and 250,500 were girls. In the third division, out of a total of 303,103 students, 135,676 were boys and 167,427 were girls. Last year, in 2025, a total of 1558,077 students took the Bihar Board Matriculation examination. Of these, 1279,294 passed successfully, while 278,783 failed.
Whose performance was better?
Data from 2025 shows that there was a close competition between boys and girls. The pass percentage for boys was 83.65%, while for girls it was 80.67%. However, over the past few years, girls’ performance has steadily improved. They have gradually narrowed the gap and raised the overall level of education.
