Ram Charan arrived at the reception barefoot
with his wife Upasana. He was dressed head to toe in black. However, what caught people’s attention the most was that he arrived at the event barefoot, without shoes. Ram Charan is currently observing ‘Ayyappa Deeksha’. This is considered a difficult and sacred fast observed by devotees of Lord Ayyappa. During this fast, devotees have to strictly follow certain rules.

Ram Charan , who is undergoing a 41-day initiation, observes a
vow that involves wearing black or blue clothes, living a simple life, and remaining barefoot for 41 days. This is why he was seen without shoes at the reception. Ayyappa initiation is considered disciplined and difficult. During this time, devotees must observe complete celibacy, abstain from non-vegetarian food and alcohol, and refrain from cutting their hair or beard. This vow is observed before a visit to the Sabarimala temple. However, this is not the first time Ram Charan has been seen barefoot. He was previously seen observing Ayyappa initiation before attending the Oscars in 2023.
