There’s excellent news for candidates interested in applying for CUET UG 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application window for CUET UG 2026. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The exam is expected to be held between May 11 and May 31, 2026. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode.
Now the question arises as to when candidates can apply. Candidates can now apply for CUET UG 2026 until February 26, 2026. Candidates can apply until 11:50 pm on February 26. Therefore, those interested should apply by this date or before.

- After this, candidates can click on the link ‘Registration Resumption for CUET (UG) – 2026’ on the homepage.
- After this the candidates should register themselves.
- After this the candidates should fill their application form.
- After filling the application form, the candidate should submit it.
- After form submission, candidates should download the confirmation page.
- At last, candidates should take a print out.
No correction window after submission
NTA has clearly stated that this extended time is a special arrangement and no corrections will be made after application form submission. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully verify all details entered during the online registration process to ensure they are correct and complete before final submission.
It should be noted that the online application process initially ran from January 3, 2026, to January 30, 2026, and the last date for fee payment was January 31, 2026 (11:50 PM). Subsequently, the deadline was extended to February 4, 2026, and the fee payment window remained open until February 7, 2026.
