In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, she revealed that her ex-partners often commented on her clothes and what she said. Urfi said that at the beginning of the relationship, she would go along with what her partners said. But with time, she understood the truth and what was right and wrong.

Urfi Javed is now openly sharing the truth about her life. In an exclusive interview for Pinkvilla’s Love Aaj Kal segment, she spoke about her past relationships. Urfi revealed that she has been in toxic relationships with partners who tried to control what she said and wore. She said that she often had to hear things like, “Why did you say that? Why did you wear that? You’re embarrassing me.”

Nia Sharma, who was sitting with Urfi, also agreed with this. Nia shared that she too has faced similar problems regarding her clothes. She recalled that in 2014, her outfits started getting more attention than her work. The online criticism also affected her relationships, where her partners started questioning her clothing choices.
When asked during the interview how she felt about such questions, Urfi Javed answered candidly. She said that at the beginning of a relationship, a person is so deeply in love that they overlook many things. But when the honeymoon phase ends and the truth comes out, they realize that they don’t need to change themselves.
She further added that this also raises the question of whether it’s really right to be with that person, and this confusion later creates many problems in the relationship. Both of them further shared that many arguments in their relationships revolved solely around their clothes. They were often forced to wonder if this was the only issue left in the relationship.
