Assam Board 2026: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for 2026. The Class 10 or HSLC exam will begin on February 10, 2026, while the Class 12 or HS exam will start on February 11, 2026.

The exam dates were shared by the Assam CM on his official X account. In his post, he wrote:

The HSLC (Matriculation) Examination 2026 will commence from 10 February 2026.

HSLC Exam Form-Filling Window Reopened
Although the datesheets for the Class 10 and 12 exams have not yet been released, SEBA Assam has reopened the form filling window for the HSLC exam. This window will reopen on November 17, 2025, and close on November 20, 2025, with the payment submission deadline being November 21, 2025. Schools that have not yet completed the form filling process have been instructed to complete it within this period by visiting the official website.
Important Instructions for Students and Schools
The Board has clarified that students completing the form during this extended period will be registered under the APL category only. Additionally, heads of institutions are required to update the bank details of candidates, if not done already. Meanwhile, the Class 12 or HS exam form-filling window has already been closed. For more details, candidates can visit the official websites of SEBA Assam or AHSEC.
