Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the arrest of another person who posted support for the Delhi bombings on social media. A total of 21 people have been arrested in this case so far. The Chief Minister clarified that no one who supports terrorists online will be spared.
Strict action against those spreading hate on social media
Himanta Biswa Sarma shared this information in a social media post, stating that the Assam Police has arrested another anti-national individual. He stated that the government has no tolerance for those who support terrorists. Online support for terrorist attacks will no longer be tolerated.

Details of arrests, accused from different districts
The 21 arrested include three each from Kamrup and Bongaigaon, two each from Chirang, Lakhimpur, and Barpeta, and one each from Darrang, Goalpara, Nalbari, Hailakandi, Hojai, South Salmara, Kokrajhar, Bajali, and Dhubri. All of them had been supporting the Delhi blasts on social media.
The Horror of the Delhi Red Fort Blast
A powerful explosion ripped through a slow-moving car near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening. The blast killed 12 people and injured several others. Dr. Umar Un-Nabi, a Kashmiri doctor driving the car, was also killed. This terrorist attack was a major shock to the entire nation.
17 arrested earlier, investigation ongoing
Earlier, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma had said that 17 people had been arrested in connection with the case in Assam. Many of the arrested accused are associated with Al Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana. Investigating agencies have also seized diaries belonging to Dr. Omar and his associate, Dr. Muzammil Ahmed. These documents will prove helpful in understanding the depth of the terrorist network.
