Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday announced the details of the results of various state recruitment examinations and the schedule for key welfare schemes such as Orundoi Phase 3 and Nijut Moina. During a live session on social media, the Chief Minister clarified that the results were scheduled to be released in September, but were delayed due to the sudden demise of Zubin Garg and the directive of the Guwahati High Court.
Results of ADRE and Other Recruitment Examinations
Chief Minister Sarma said, “We had previously planned to release the ADRE Grade III results and appointment letters by September 25, but had to postpone them due to the court order and the current situation. Now, the Grade III results will be declared on October 10 and the Grade IV results on October 15.” He also said that there will be no overlap in results for teacher recruitment, and appointment letters will be distributed on time.
Sarma also shared the schedule for other major examinations:
- Sub-Inspector and Fire Brigade: October 10
- Graduate and Post-Graduate Teachers: October 15
- Health Department (Technical and Non-Technical): Before October 12
- Primary and Elementary Teachers: October 15–20
- Armed and Unarmed Branch Constables: Results expected by the end of October
The Chief Minister assured that appointment letters will be distributed by October 25–26, fulfilling the promise of timely recruitment.
Schedule of Welfare Schemes
Sarma also shared the new schedule for the Orundoi Scheme and the Nijut Moina Scheme. He explained that 3 million families are already receiving ₹1,250 per month through Orundoi. Phase 3 was scheduled to begin on September 25, but will now be implemented from October 7 after completing all formalities.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister stated that the Nijut Moina Scheme will be launched between October 10–15. He also clarified that the government is ensuring that both welfare schemes and recruitment processes are completed in a timely and transparent manner.
Government’s Commitment to Timeliness
Chief Minister Sarma assured the public that his government is fully committed to the timely delivery of results and appointments. He stated that the government’s objective is not only to complete recruitment and schemes, but also to ensure timely delivery of services to all beneficiaries and new employees. He expressed hope that by the end of October, all recruitment processes will be completed and welfare schemes will reach the public.
