PM Modi In Assam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Assam on the second day of his Northeast India tour. After visiting Manipur on Saturday, PM Modi participated in the 100th birth anniversary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika in Guwahati and paid tribute to him. On this special occasion, he also held a grand road show in Guwahati, in which thousands of people gathered. People welcomed the Prime Minister with full enthusiasm and zeal.
Development projects worth ₹ 18,530 crores gifted to Assam
Today Prime Minister Modi will gift various development projects worth Rs 18,530 crore to Assam. PM Modi’s first program will be in Darang district, where he will lay the foundation stone of several projects. Along with this, the foundation stone of the ring road project will also be laid in Guwahati. This project will help in reducing the problem of ever-increasing congestion and traffic jams in the city. The government believes that the people of Guwahati will get great benefit from this ring road.

Projects related to Golaghat and Numaligarh Refinery
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Assam Bio-Ethanol Private Limited at Numaligarh Refinery Plant, Golaghat today. This project is considered a big step towards energy self-sufficiency and green energy. Apart from this, he will also lay the foundation stone of the polypropylene plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited. Experts say that these projects will strengthen the industrial and economic condition of Assam and will also provide employment opportunities to the youth.
Bengal tour after Assam
After completing the Assam visit, PM Modi will leave for West Bengal today itself. His Bengal tour will last for two days. On September 14 and 15, he will attend many programs in Kolkata. Today itself, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Joint Commanders Conference of the Armed Forces in Kolkata. This visit is also special because this is PM Modi’s second Bengal visit in less than a month. After Bengal, PM Modi will go to Purnia and will also inaugurate many development projects there.
