Chief Minister Sarma has repeatedly alleged that Gaurav Gogoi and his wife have had links with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. On May 6, Sarma had said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case has completed its investigation, but formal documents like passport and visa copies are yet to come from international agencies. The Chief Minister said that this process will be completed by September 10 and only after that the full report will be made public.
