The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for Round 2 of NEET UG Counseling 2025. The process is going on from 4 September 2025 on the official website mcc.nic.in and eligible candidates can register till 9 September 2025. In this phase, candidates will get a chance to apply for MBBS and BDS seats. Along with this, the choice filling process has also started, in which candidates can choose the college and course of their choice. The option of choice locking will be available from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on 9 September.

Seat allocation and reporting dates

The seat allocation process for Round 2 will be done on 10 and 11 September 2025. After this, the result of seat allocation will be declared on 12 September 2025. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report and join the respective college from 13 September to 19 September 2025. After this, the institutes will verify the data of the candidates on 20th and 21st September 2025. Candidates are advised to follow all the prescribed deadlines so that any kind of problem can be avoided.

Choice Filling Process

Candidates have to first visit the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. Click on the link “NEET UG Counseling 2025 Round 2 Choice Filling” available on the homepage. After this a new page will open, where login details have to be entered. After successful login, candidates will get the option of choice filling. Here they can choose the college and course of their choice. After the selection is complete, click on submit and print a hard copy of it and keep it safe, so that there is no difficulty in the further process.

Seat Matrix and Counseling Information

According to the updated seat matrix released by MCC, a total of 1,134 new seats have been made available in this phase. NEET UG counseling is conducted in three phases, followed by a vacancy round. MCC conducts counseling for 15% All India Quota seats in government medical colleges across India. Apart from this, counseling for 100% seats of AMU, BHU, JMI and ESIC is also done through MCC. At the same time, each state has its own separate NEET UG counseling, which includes 85% seats in government colleges and 100% seats in private medical colleges. This process provides a golden opportunity to medical aspirants across the country to get admission in top institutions.
