The day of 14th September 2025 is going to be very important for those youth who are preparing for recruitment in the Indian Army. The UPSC (Union Public Services Commission) has released the admit cards for Combined Defense Services (CDS) 2 and National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NDA/NA) 2 Exam 2025. Candidates appearing for both these prestigious defense entrance examinations can download their e-admit cards from the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

Admit Card and Required Documents

According to the official notification, if the photo of a candidate is not clear on the admit card or the name and date are not visible properly, then he will have to bring a valid photo identity card and three passport size photographs (with name and date) to the examination center. One photo will be mandatory for each session. Along with this, the candidate will also have to submit a written affidavit. This arrangement has been made to make the examination process safe and transparent.

Exam Time Table

The CDS 2 exam will be held on September 14 in three sessions:

  • English: 9:00 am to 11:00 am
  • General Knowledge: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
  • Elementary Mathematics: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The NDA/NA 2 exam will be held on September 14 in two sessions:

  • Session 1: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
  • Session 2: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

UPSC has advised the candidates to reach their exam centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam to avoid any last minute rush. CDS and NDA exams are among the most competitive national level exams conducted by the UPSC. Candidates selected through these exams get admission into the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and National Defence Academy and, if successful, serve as commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
