DHE Assam Student Unique ID: The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has made it mandatory for all students taking online admission from the 2025-2026 academic session to generate a unique ID. This step has been taken to ensure a transparent and integrated admission process in state universities and government colleges. Even if a student has already filled the admission form or taken admission, he is required to generate a unique ID.

Students can generate their unique ID by visiting the website https://directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in. In case of any problem in this process, they can contact the helpline number 1800-345-1100 or 0361-2724222. Also, students can get help through email by writing their name, date of birth and mobile number correctly. The email address is: dheonline.admission@amtron.in.
Process to generate Unique ID
Applying for a Unique ID is very easy. First of all, go to the website and click on the “Generate Unique ID” link. After this, fill in all the information asked in the form like name, date of birth, exam and course information, bank details etc. Then tick the “I certify…” option and press the submit button. After successful registration, the Unique ID will be sent to the mobile number, which is important to keep safe for future.
How to correct the data
If you have made any mistake after applying for a Unique ID, then there is no need to worry. You can update your data later as well. For this, go to the “Update/Correction Form” link on the website and make the necessary corrections. After this press the submit button and your update will be done.
