After the ceasefire on the border between India and Pakistan, the Union Cabinet and Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) is going to meet for the first time under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today i.e. on Wednesday. This meeting is considered very important because the situation after the recent Pahalgam terror attack and ‘Operation Sindoor’ can be discussed in it. The Cabinet meeting will be held at 11 am and the CCS meeting will be held immediately after that. It is worth noting that two emergency meetings of CCS have already been held after the Pahalgam attack.
A big decision can be taken in the CCS meeting
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will be present along with Prime Minister Modi in today’s meeting of CCS. According to sources, a big decision can be taken in this meeting on the basis of reports and intelligence inputs of top officials of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of External Affairs. It is also being speculated that a tough stand can be taken against Pakistan or a strategic message can be given for the future.

This is the third meeting of CCS after Pahalgam attack
It is being told that this will be the third meeting of CCS after the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The first meeting was held on 23 April in which a decision was taken to take strict action against the terrorists. After this, the second meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s residence on 30 April in which the security situation of Jammu and Kashmir was reviewed and the army was given a free hand against the terrorists. After that, the army started ‘Operation Sindoor’ and gave a befitting reply to the terrorists as well as Pakistan. This operation is considered to be the most organized military operation till date.
There will be an in-depth discussion on the situation after the ceasefire
In today’s CCS meeting, mainly the strategy after ‘Operation Sindoor’, the progress of the investigation of the Pahalgam attack and the next warning or response to be given to Pakistan can be considered. Apart from this, it is also believed that an in-depth review will be done regarding the changed situation on the border and the new security challenges. The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) and the chiefs of the three armies also participated in the previous meetings. Important suggestions can be taken from them in today’s meeting as well. In view of the constantly tense situation in Jammu and Kashmir and on the border, this meeting is considered very decisive and many important decisions related to security can be taken in it.
