Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma strongly retaliated to the anti-India statement of Pakistani leader Bilawal Bhutto. Sarma said that Pakistan’s history has always been full of deceit and bloodshed. He said that no one can stop India from taking decisive revenge for the Pahalgam terror attack. Sarma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will find and eliminate terrorism from any corner of the world. There can be no compromise on India’s national security. He shared a video of Bilawal Bhutto’s anti-India statement on social media and took a sharp jibe and wrote that Bilawal’s grandfather and mother themselves had paid the price for the betrayal of the Pakistani state by giving their lives.
No compromise with India’s security
Himanta Biswa Sarma said in clear words that there is no question of compromising with the dignity of India and the safety of citizens. He said that when it comes to the honor and security of the country, no one can stop India from taking decisive action. The anger of the country is natural after the Pahalgam terror attack and India will give a tough reply to it. Chief Minister Sarma warned Pakistan that India will root out terrorism and will not shy away from going to any corner of the world for this.
India’s tough stand on Indus Water Treaty
Himanta Biswa Sarma also put forward India’s strong stand on the Indus Water Treaty. He said that the water of the Indus River belongs to India and will always remain India’s. Sarma said that this water is under India’s authority and there will be no dispute over it. On the other hand, in Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto made provocative remarks against India during a rally and said that the Indus River is ours and will remain so. He said that either our water will flow in this river or India’s blood. But India has made it clear that now countries supporting terrorism will be taught a tough lesson.
Big decision after Pahalgam attack
It is worth noting that 25 Indian citizens lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday. After this attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security. In this meeting, it was decided that the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 will be kept suspended until Pakistan credibly stops supporting cross-border terrorism. India has taken this step to show that now there will be no compromise on the security of the country and a tough stand will be taken against terrorism.
